About Octopus

Yesterday, I and my son rented a book from a library. The book was about an octopus who used to live in an aquarium in New Zealand. He captured by a fisherman who was waiting for lobsters with his trap down in the ocean. He donated the this octopus with 2 injured legs to local aquarium. 

At the aquarium the keeper named this octopus Inky, Inky ended up escape at night through aquarium drainhole and went on the headlines of newspapers worldwide

After reading this book, and noticed it was a real story, our curiosity grew about this species. So we started searching for octopus videos. We found a greatone on Netflex which is 'My Octopus Teacher'.

In this documentary, the marine biologist dives everyday to meet this octopus until she dies after laying eggs. My son ended up tearing when the tragedy happens. 

The diver is saying at the end - The octopus taught him that we are not visiting on this planet, we are part of it' This one sentence shooken my mind. I always been thinking that I am visiting this planet through my life, so I'll be enjoy it as much. I think this kind of mind set people like me have make them not as responsible. When you travel, you don't do responsible act much. When you live as a part of your work, family then your action have to be responsible with your work and family. I think our life itself is the same. So I decided to change my mindset. I am not visiting or traveling through my life on this planet. I am part of it, I will play my responsible roles as I live on.
